LB2 is a product which is particularly suitable for the manufacture of brass sensor, bearings. With good corrosion resistance and excellent wear resistance in high-speed environments, LB2 is a continuous cast bronze product. The alloy is a suitable product for use in the manufacture of bearings, especially where there is a lack of adequate lubrication or there are alignment issues. The excellent wear resistance characteristics of the alloy are particular impressive under conditions of heavy pressure, vibration or high speed. The high lead content and inclusion of tin in this bronze products results in an alloy with increased plasticity.

LB4 is an ideal product for producing bearings for non-critical applications.
NON-CRITICAL APPLICATIONS
Like LB2, LB4 is an ideal product for the production of bearings, particularly in environments where a general lack of lubrication and where alignment issues are present. This leaded bronze product contains approximately 5% tin and 9% lead. The alloy benefits from excellent machinability with medium strength and good corrosion resistance. LB4 is classed as a general bearing alloy with reasonable ductility which is suitable for use in non-critical applications under low loads.

LG2 (CC491K)combines outstanding machining capabilities with moderate strength. LG2 Known as a leaded gunmetal bronze, LG2 (CC491K) promotes a variety of attractive performance characteristics. The alloy has outstanding machining properties while offering superior corrosion and wear resistance. With medium strength and resistance to dezincification, LG2 offers reasonable protection from the effects of corrosion in salt water and brine environments. The alloy is ideally suited to the production of bearings which function under light loads and up to medium speeds. Increased lead content gives the material enhanced machining characteristics when compared to other bronze alloys.

SAE660 Leaded Bronze
SAE660 is a leaded continuously cast copper-based alloy that is suitable for a variety of applications that are under medium loads whilst using adequate lubrication. This alloy offers good sliding and dry running properties and is not subject to dezincification. The alloy possesses good resistance to brine, making it suitable for pump and valve components.
SAE660 is a versatile bronze which can be used in many applications such as bushes and bearings. With good wear resistance and excellent anti-friction qualities, the alloy benefits from being easily machined.
